There once was a time when Hip Hop wasn't everywhere you looked and listened. Before satellite radio and it's Rap-only channels, before cable and it's Rap-only video programs, and long before the days when a Rap artist could release a successful album, movie, soundtrack and even a book all within a few months, our beloved Hip Hop was much harder to come by. During the early 90s, a comedy program of all things helped bring Hip Hop into our living rooms by way of the TV. On Sunday night "In Living Color" would air and many a teenager would hope the show ended with a performance, and about half the time it did. The weekly broadcast, best known for being the launching pad for such superstars as Jim Carrey, Jamie Foxx and Jennifer Lopez, only lasted for a few short years. But for the duration of the series, "In Living Color" presented America with some of the best and biggest Rap acts around, during arguably Hip Hop's finest period. So let this compilation helps you remember the good old days or catch up on history if you missed out the first time around...
